To complement the information shown in the brochure, a more visual display of iProd’s main lines of work and objectives has been sought, and to achieve this, a flier has been designed by CIDAUT. This flier is meant to be an eye catcher for the project, and will redirect interested researchers and potential users to read more information in the brochure, or at this website.

The project Brochure was designed by Paragon at the beginning of the project. In here you can find a small review of the project’s objectives and challenges, as well as other information regarding the Consortium or the project’s administrative data.

This document contains the integrated functional requirements for the iProd project. These requirements generalize the requirements gathered and organized in deliverable D2.2 ? Functional PDP Requirements (based on D2.1 ? Common Methodology for PDP Analysis) and provide a set of requirements common to different product development processes (PDP), as well as those limited to a certain domain. They are organized by the phases identified as general enough to cover all processes, and are split into kernel requirements, which are common for all the users, and domain-specific, which are either user- or industry-specific.

Based on the common methodology (from T2.1) the user-centric functional requirements, suitable for use in the daily work of engineers in product development, were captured. A structured questionnaire was developed and the gathering of requirements was conducted in form of interviews/workshops. (For having a single information set for collecting the requirements, the questionnaire was appended to D2.1 which contains the common methodology and the terminologies used)

This document describes the methodology for analysing those characteristics of the end-users? product development process (PDP) that are most relevant to the iProd project. The end-users are members of the iProd project and provide the use case scenarios for the development of demonstrators (software prototypes) that display how using the iProd framework can help a company improve its PDP. The methodology focuses on understanding the PDP process and the people, data and software tools involved in it.

Project iProd is up and running! Industry and academia have come together to search for an ICT tool to improve the efficiency and quality of the Product Development Process of innovative products.
This is the first press release of the project. It was created and submitted right after the project’s Kick off Meeting, and in it you can find a general overview of the project, the Consortium and a summary of the most important administrative information (duration, start date, end date, budget, funding, grant agreement number…).
